Synopsis
Cowboy Yak Halliday comes into town on payday to see his sweetheart Anita. Although they are saving their money to get married, Yak decides to take a chance at gambling. Yak loses all his money, as well as his beloved horse "Boy" to crooked gamblers. When he is told by a drifter named Durk that the game was fixed, Yak takes back his horse. Later, after Yak learns that the gamblers are escaped convicts, he becomes a deputy and catches the crooks. After receiving a reward for his efforts, Yak is able to marry Anita.
