Synopsis

A study of some bizarre customs as practiced throughout the world: opium smoking and prostitution in Kowloon; interracial lovemaking in a stag movie; showgirls performing in Los Angeles; prostitution in Hong Kong; bullfighting, flamenco dancing, and striptease dancing in Madrid; ancient tribal marriage and fertility rites practiced in Luzon; interracial lovemaking in Manhattan, as advocated by a bestselling book on love and sex; and West Indians dancing in Martinique. In Bangkok contestants engage in the Thai national sport of kabi-kong, and students of Silparken University perform a classical Thai dance; in Paris at the Lido Club a woman demonstrates the intimate relationship between herself and her Shetland pony, at the Crazy Horse Saloon an "upside down piano juggler" is shown engaged in his hazardous occupation, and elsewhere in Paris Vince Taylor and the Playboys perform a rock and roll number; in Manila the viewer is treated to cockfighting, traditional dances as performed by the Bayanihan National Troupe, and a festival and parade of Jeep taxicabs representing the spirit of the U. S. Army Motor Pool; in Yokohama one witnesses the preparation and eating of monkey brains, ants, dogs, and snakes, the swallowing of a live mouse, a rickshaw ride through crowded streets, and a snake dance; one sees a harem ruled by a sadistic chief in Arabia; and, finally, young Buddhist monks in Thailand, using swords and staffs, engage in fierce combat to test physical strength and cleanse the soul.
