Synopsis
While in Shanghai, Tom Fellows, captain of an opium-smuggling tramp steamer, finds Mary Blake, Secret Service Agent No. 63, held captive in a waterfront opium den by the notorious "London Charlie." After a struggle with the gang leader, Fellows rescues the girl, takes her to his room, and sets her free. Agent Blake immediately leads a raiding party on the opium den and is once again captured. About to be put to death, the girl is once more rescued by Fellows, and the gang is rounded up. Mary then learns that Fellows is actually Col. Robert Wellsley, Chief of the British Intelligence Service in China. The way to romance is clear.
