Synopsis
Young Mike contentedly works as a hired hand on a small farm in California with his close friend Dan. While Mike and Dan find themselves attracted to one another, Dan is a bit of drifter and does not want to remain on the farm. He wants to finish out his contract and move onto a big city, hopefully with Mike. A boy from the adjacent farm, Gary, ends up befriending them during their daily chores. Gary is drawn to the camaraderie of the young farmhands in part to avoid his abusive father. When an innocent session of skinny-dipping is misconstrued by Gary's father, the young hired hands find themselves unjustly suspected of wrongdoing in a suddenly hostile small town.
