Synopsis
On the trail of the gang of crooks responsible for a series of jewelry store stickups, a young policeman, Jerry Judd, falls in love with Patricia Berry, whose brother, Bowery Blackie, leads the gang. The gang tries to frame Jerry so as to discredit him in Patricia's eyes, but the trick only tips off Jerry to their hideout. Both Patricia and Jerry are torn between love and duty: she pleads for her brother, he decides he must do his job. Patricia warns Blackie, who is killed in the fray, and Jerry reports to his superior that Blackie was killed defending his sister.
