Synopsis

Vincent Chin, a Chinese-American auto engineer saw his American dream end in Detroit, at the hands of Ron Ebens, an alcoholic xenophobe who later pled guilty to manslaughter, but never served time in prison. The film explores the events and aftermath of the murder, including the frustrations of Chin's family with the American justice system, and the excuses of Ebens himself, who denies the murder was racially motivated.
