Synopsis
The Kilgore College Rangerettes were the first dancing drill team in the United States, performing at their first football game in 1940. In this documentary about the program, the original director, Gussie Nell Davis, is seen overseeing the summer camp where girls from every part of the country spent two weeks drilling in the hope of qualifying for the elite group.
