Synopsis
"The American consul in the capital of Persia, his demure and attractive secretary, an American friend with strong inclinations to gallivant after women, and various Oriental personages are the characters who parade through this concoction of comedy pieced together with snatches of drama and fistic brawls" (Raymond Ganley in Motion Picture News, 10 Mar 1928, p825). An American consul is forced to shield a rakish American friend who has incurred the enmity of a ruling pasha. Both the consul and his friend are attracted to Millie Baxter, the consul's pretty secretary, but the two forget they are rivals when the pasha attempts to steal the girl. In the end the girl marries the consul.
