Synopsis

When Mary Moreland returns from school, she accidentally discovers a photo of a woman in her father's suitcase. Deciding to protect her mother and save her father from this "wicked woman," Mary plots to meet her. She places an ad in the paper for an escort, and Billy Fiske, the newspaper owner's son answers and is hired. Mary discovers the woman whose name is Dollie, at a dance hall and makes her acquaintance; Dollie invites Mary to her apartment. Mary contrives a meeting with her father at Dollie's apartment and when they are all brought face to face, he realizes the error of his ways. Billy also comes to the realization that he is in love with Mary.
