Synopsis
Northwest Mountie Sergeant MacKenzie visits a Canadian valley to investigate some "ghost" killings. He meets Julie Lebeau, who has recently rejected a suitor, a halfbreed named Jacques. Jacques, who proves to be the mysterious killer, offers to serve as a guide to the stranger. In fear and jealousy (MacKenzie and Julie have fallen in love), he dynamites a hut where MacKenzie has sought shelter. MacKenzie escapes the blast but is knocked unconscious in the ensuing fight. Jacques returns to the trading post to kidnap Julie. The arrival of MacKenzie and his aide brings Jacques to justice.
