Synopsis

Mary, under the edict of losing her inheritance if she marries without the approval of her guardian, Professor Pennanink, must keep her marriage to athletic instructor Jack Langdon a secret. This is complicated by the presence of the couple's baby, Jack, Jr., whom Mary has hidden in the school attic. Waldo Pennanink, the professor's son, is also in love with Mary and henceforth acts as a sleuth to do everything he can to prevent Mary and Jack from spending time together. After a series of comic incidents involving a stolen necklace and Mary's attempt to hide her secret, she finally comes of age and upon announcing her marriage, is able to retrieve her child from the attic.
