Synopsis
The wedding rehearsal for Ken Lanning and Alice Stanton is cut short when the bride-to-be's parents discover another woman in Ken's apartment. The vamp, Yvette, was placed there by Gregory, a jealous suitor who is preferred by Alice's parents. Convinced Ken is a two-timer, Alice decides to marry Gregory. Ken intercepts Gregory en route to the ceremony, knocks him out, and persuades the minister to accompany him to Alice's, where they climb through her window. Alice decides Ken is the one she loves, and the ceremony begins only to be interrupted by the police, who arrest them for housebreaking. They elude the police and again start the wedding when Alice's parents rush in and take the bride away--with Ken and the minister in pursuit. Ken transfers Alice to his car during the chase. They run to a construction job, jump on a hoist, and are married high above the city's street and safely out of reach of further interference.
