Synopsis
On the day she is married to Paul, Mary is handed a deed to a house from Robert Wheeler, who later is revealed to be her father. A former menace, Marc Read, reenters Mary's life and is murdered, and Mary hides his body with the help of her housekeeper, Nancy. Mary is tried for the murder and is saved at the last minute when Wheeler rushes in and forces Nancy to confess to the murder.
