Synopsis
Sara, a London fashion model, meets Tulia, a young and inexperienced Danish model who complains that she needs more photographs for her portfolio. Sara invites Tulia to come to the cottage that she shares with her "nephew" Theo, an avid photographer. The first evening at the cottage, they play strip poker, and Theo wins the game and seduces Tulia, whom the couple have plied with drink and "special" cigarettes. Later, Sara and Theo compare Tulia to Tina, an Italian model with whom the pair formed a ménage à trois; Theo predicts that Tulia will become warmer once she has experienced the ecstasy of sexual pleasure with both a man and a woman. While Tulia and Theo are walking in the woods, a man named Field suddenly appears and asks of Tina's whereabouts; Theo's unclear explanation leaves Tulia apprehensive. Later that afternoon, Theo's friend Tommy joins them for a country drive. Away from any possible onlookers Tommy rips off Tulia's clothes so that Theo can take nude pictures of her. Frightened but later convinced by Theo's explanation that the violence was merely for photographic effect, Tulia returns to the cottage and is drawn once again into the sensual atmosphere surrounding Sara and Theo. She makes love with Sara while Theo photographs them; he then joins them. Hearing a noise outside, Theo finds Field spying on the cottage, stabs him, and sets fire to his car. The next morning, having discovered Tina's suitcase and passport, Tulia enters Theo's darkroom and discovers large photographs of the murdered Tina. Terrified, Tulia tries to run away but is taken to the woods by Theo, who asks her to kiss him; and as she does, he stabs her.
