Synopsis
Mayor Nelse Tyler, who runs a small town by force, has three sons: Milt and Mose, who like nothing better than knocking heads, and Tobias, who is a quiet, thoughtful soul. All three court Patience Matthews, but she favors Tobias, much to the disgust of his roughneck brothers. Tom Calvert tries to displace Nelse as mayor and, failing at that, has him framed for the murder of Newt Randall, who has disappeared without leaving a trace. Nelse is convicted and sentenced to be executed. At the last minute, Tobias discovers where Newt Randall is hiding and brings him back to town in time to save his father's life.
