Synopsis
Whistling Jim, an itinerant cowboy who is given to whistling at difficult moments, rides in mining country, where in a deserted saloon he meets an outlaw leader named Dan Lee. The men strike up a conversation, and Dan soon offers Jim a job as payroll guard at the mine of his brother, Jack Lee; Jim quickly realizes, however, that Dan is using him to find out the time and place of the gold shipments, which Dan and his gang have been robbing. With the help of Peggy, Jack Lee's daughter, Jim sets a trap for Dan by simultaneously notifying Dan and the sheriff of the time of the next shipment. Dan's gang stampedes the pack train, and the sheriff and his posse round up the gang members.
