Synopsis

After striking it rich on his Oklahoma oil fields, Jimmie Montgomery Farrell is persuaded to risk his fortune in a card game against "Ace High" Burdette. When Burdette loses his Long Island estate to Jimmie, he wanders distractedly through the woods and stumbles over a rock, injuring his head, whereupon the feebleminded "Curio" Johnson carries the gambler to his cabin for company. Believing that Burdette committed suicide, Jimmie goes East to inspect the estate and meets the gambler's daughter Cynthia, who mistakes him for her new chauffeur. Afraid to report her father's suicide, Jimmie accepts his new role, and the two fall in love. Their joy is briefly interrupted by William Phelps, a crook who reveals Jimmie's secret, but just then, Burdette himself appears, and the romance is saved.
