Synopsis
Northwest Mountie Trooper O'Neil is sent to apprehend the murderer of Jacob Dell, found dead in his cabin. He meets Marie Lestrange, whose sister--treated badly by Dell--has died. O'Neil suspects Pierre, the dead girl's suitor, but evidence points to Marie. O'Neil dutifully arrests the girl, though he has fallen in love with her. Pierre attempts to rescue Marie, falls after a fight with O'Neil, and, dying, confesses that he shot Dell.
