Synopsis
William Hyatt, the proprietor of an exclusive bootery, has a contented and unruffled marriage until his best friend, Al Hennessey, blunderingly informs Will's wife, Grace, that Will has been dining out with Dagmar, a pretty Parisian designer. William temporarily squares himself with Grace, but his troubles begin anew when Hennessey tells Grace that he and Will have been visitors at Dagmar's apartment. Although the visit was in the interest of business, Grace believes Will to have been unfaithful and makes his life unbearable. Will eventually leaves home and goes to a summer hotel. Spurred on by fury and suspicion, Grace follows him and finds Dagmar in the same hotel. To her surprise and relief, however, Grace discovers that Dagmar is there as a bride, having just married Hennessey. Grace and Will are quickly reconciled.
