Synopsis

Penniless and discouraged, Vic Foster comes out of Death Valley and enters the Desert Dream Dance Hall. There he meets a singer known as "Princess," who inquires if he ever knew a man named Waldron, whereupon he is drugged by the proprietor and robbed of a deed to the Pink Lead Mine. Monty Green advises Vic to leave town, for the sheriff has evidence that he killed Jerry Wright, his partner. On the way to his mine, he meets his engineer friend Frank Valone, who invites him to the city. Receiving a telegram from Valone that he is being followed by the sheriff, Foster returns to clear his name and finds a letter addressed to Ruth Waldron, which he delivers to "Princess," the dead partner's daughter. The letter gives the location of the lost mine and proves Foster innocent. With the mystery solved, he and "Princess" become partners.
