Synopsis
Koumiko, a young, French-educated, Manchurian-born Japanese, visits the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and other parts of Tokyo as she discusses her city, her country, and the Orient in general. She then responds to some questions asked by the film's director about her life expectations, the state of the world, and the possibility of lasting peace.
