Synopsis
Southern aristocrat Phoebe Morrison falls in love with her father's handsome young business partner after seeing a snapshot of him. When she arrives in the West, although she finds his rough manners repulsive, her infatuation grows, and he agrees to spend 2 years abroad in refined society. She is delighted with the result, and they are married; but after returning to the Elton ranch she tires of his gentlemanly ways. Realizing her discontent, he successfully blends his natural and acquired virtues.
