Synopsis
Ranger, a dog owned by wealthy young Jimmy Alston, is entrusted with a valuable diamond necklace intended for Letty Carroll, Jimmy's girl. But Letty proves untrue; and on his way home, Jimmy swerves to avoid hitting little Mickey Flanagan, and Ranger is thrown out of the car. The boy takes the dog to his tenement home, where he lives with his sister, Agnes. Bert, a would-be suitor of Agnes', tries to steal the necklace but is prevented by Ranger. Alston recognizes the necklace on Agnes and becomes acquainted with her. Bert, after kidnaping Ranger, attacks Agnes, but Ranger escapes and corners the villain until Alston and the police arrive.
