Synopsis

Cranner, a railroad agent in search of train robbers, is caught riding a branded horse and is arrested as a horsethief. He escapes, however, by tunneling through the wall of the building in which he is confined and hides by burying himself in the desert sand. Anna Jones's dog discovers him, but loath to deliver him to the posse, Anna provides him with a horse. Hoping to see her again, Cranner returns and is almost captured by the posse, but the sheriff arrests the real horsethieves and reveals Cranner's true identity.
