Synopsis

A certain lawless woman, known to her intimates as Lady Lucifer or the Bandit Queen, hides under the cloak of respectability to promote the operations of a fake company. To generate interest in her project, she hires respected mining engineer Tom Taylor, who is unaware of her nefarious plans. She sends Taylor out of town with all the company funds. He is abducted by the Bandit Queen's gang, and a warrant is issued for his arrest. However, the faith of Taylor's fiancée, Grace, is unshaken, and she begins an investigation. The Bandit Queen and her weak-willed brother decide to make a getaway, but first they kidnap Grace to get her out of the way. Meanwhile, Taylor escapes and rescues Grace. The Bandit Queen, conscience-stricken, confesses, clearing the way for the happiness of the two lovers.
