Synopsis

David McCallum dashes into a Hollywood auditorium called The Moulin Rouge, and thousands of teenagers mob him. Finally reaching the orchestra, he waves a baton and introduces the first in a succession of musical entertainers who perform their hit recordings. Highlights include: Joan Baez singing "Five Hundred Miles," Roger Miller singing "King of the Road," Ray Charles singing "Georgia on My Mind," Petula Clark singing "Downtown," Donovan singing "Universal Soldier," The Byrds with "Mr. Tambourine Man," The Lovin' Spoonful singing "You Didn't Have to Be So Nice," and Ike and Tina Turner performing many of their hits.
