Synopsis
Documentary profile of Joe Leahy's interactions with the Ganiga, a prominent highland tribe in Papua New Guinea. Leahy is the mixed-race, unacknowledged son of Michael Leahy, an Australian prospector who first explored the lush interior of Papua New Guinea during the 1930s; earlier explorers unexpectedly discovered a sizable indigenous population which had previously been unaware of the existence of white people.
