Synopsis

Bruce Elwood, a Wyoming rancher and confessed woman-hater, converts a part of his ranch into a golf course, greatly to the discomfort of Mrs. Snodgrass, who declares it to be highly improper. Elwood hires from New York a golf instructor named Freddy Hayden, who proves to be a sportswoman, though she is at first mistaken for a boy. Freddy creates a sensation by appearing in a fashionable gown at a banquet, and Mortimer, keeper of a haberdashery, defends her against Elwood's objections; she creates a stampede of Elwood's herd, and takes advantage of the excitement to invite a dozen women to the club's first ladies' night. Meanwhile, Blodgett, a rustler, plans to kidnap Freddy and rustle the cattle; Elwood, jealous of Mortimer, tries to kiss Freddy, who punches him in the jaw. Elwood disguises himself as Blodgett, but Freddy saves his life in a battle with the real gang, and they are united.
