Synopsis
Much sought after as best man at weddings, Van Twidder goes to sleep during a ceremony, mixes up the rings, and kisses the minister instead of the bride. He swears that he is through with weddings when Tom, his best friend, becomes involved with Mimi, a blonde vamp who threatens to expose him with compromising letters and ruin his romance. Van Twidder and Tom plan to borrow a necklace she wants, then steal it back from her, but in the jewelry store Van Twidder is distracted by a pretty girl and loses her in the traffic only to see her again at the wedding rehearsal. Mimi absconds with the gems; Van Twidder retrieves them but finds them missing at the wedding; and in a riotous climactic chase after a pigeon, ending at the jewelry shop, Van Twidder finds himself engaged to Miss Bruce, the pretty secretary.
