Synopsis

During the Easter Carnival, Dolores de Cordova flirts with Juan Estudillo, not knowing that he is a member of the family with whom her ancestors have long feuded. Dolores' cousin, Pedro Toral, jealous of her attentions to Juan, kills her brother that night and after leaving Juan's handkerchief by the body, makes Dolores swear to avenge the death with her own hands. Later, living with her aunt in Paris, Dolores again meets Juan, now a marquis because of his service to the king, and marries him after refusing Pedro, who secretly leads a band of Spanish anarchists pursued by Juan. Grief stricken after the wedding dinner when she hears from Pedro that Juan is her brother's killer, Dolores is kidnapped and taken to Pedro's Apache den where Juan is also lured. Bibi Leroux, an Apache whose sister was seduced by Pedro, informs the police, who arrive just as Dolores is about to stab Juan in the heart. Bibi shoots Pedro and reveals that Juan is innocent.
