Synopsis
Red Collins, who is in love with Jessie Stevens, attempts to break up the love affair between her and Jim Sullivan. Red, threatening to expose the involvement of Jessie's father, Job Stevens, in a shady business deal, forces him to order his daughter to marry him. Jim takes to drinking but manages to earn the loyalty of Rex, Red's dog, when he rescues him from a beating by his master. Rex has many opportunities to show his gratitude to Jim in the action following. Jim is left to die by Red, but Rex rescues him; Jim is accused of murder, but Rex helps clear him; and Rex and Jim combine their talents to save Jessie.
