Synopsis

Rinty, a dog of the desert, finds his way to the city, and there he is given a home by June, granddaughter of Pop Marlow, dime museum proprietor. Pop fires Mike Doyle, an animal trainer, when he finds Doyle forcing his attentions on June. Later, Pop mysteriously disappears. June asks her sweetheart, Pat, a police detective, to take Rinty and find him. Rinty leads Pat to an underworld haunt where Pop is held prisoner by Doyle's gang. Pat is attacked by the gangsters' bulldog, and in the darkened room he mistakes him for Rinty. Pop Marlow saves Rinty from unjust death; and reunited with June and Pat, they look forward to a happy future.
