Synopsis
Buck McDavid, a poor homesteader, and his neighbor Alf contend for the hand of Mona Selby. She prefers Buck, but Alf enlists the aid of Mona's mother to acquire Buck's note from Mona's father and foreclose on his property. The disappearance of the note and the efforts to recover it result in Alf's defeat and Mrs. Selby's consent to the marriage of Buck and Mona.
