Notes
This film was scheduled for release through Art Dramas, Inc. on September 17, 1917. Art Dramas folded around the same time and, as no reviews were published, it is unclear whether Peg o' the Sea actually made it to the theaters in Sep, or if its only release was in the summer of 1918, when it was distributed on a state rights basis. According to a news item, one of the state rights distributors, Sterling Pictures Corp., had acquired all rights to the negative in January 1918. The same news item stated that the film was not complete at that time and that director Nowland was to shoot additional scenes. Some scenes for the film were shot in Atlantic Highlands, NJ.
