Synopsis

Natalie, whose mother is engaged to Wallace Brewster, the reform candidate for mayor, is 17 and resents being treated as a little girl, particularly by her mother's fiancé. When she meets the opposition candidate's son, Lance Christie, he persuades her to secure some papers incriminating Brewster. She does so and sends the papers to his opponent. Soon her conscience bothers her, and she goes to Christie to retrieve the papers and discovers that they were falsified. After receiving Brewster's forgiveness and seeing him win the election, she decides to make him her idol.
