Synopsis
Captain Morgan promises his sweetheart, Mary Weems, whose father owns the ship, that he will not touch a drink while on an important cruise. He breaks his word and wrecks the ship. Years later Morgan is rescued from a Central American port by George Tracey, a seaman and rival for Mary. George determines to make a man of Morgan and takes him aboard. Morgan realizes his worthlessness and gives up Mary to George.
