Synopsis

Henry Brodman refuses to meet the girl with whom his son, Henry, Jr., has eloped. Mrs. Brodman leaves for a visit to her mother, and John Durant, whom Brodman has never met, arrives in town on business. Henry arranges for his secretary, Daisy, to pose as Mrs. Brodman and allows her to wear his wife's pearl necklace. Henry, Daisy, and the Durants go out to dinner; Mrs. Brodman returns home unexpectedly, finds her necklace missing, and calls the cops. The cafe where Henry and his guests are dining is raided by the dry agents. They are all arrested, and Daisy is charged with stealing the necklace. Everything is soon explained satisfactorily, and Daisy turns out to be young Henry's bride.
