Synopsis
Young Joan Hastings, shut off from the excitement of courtship by two strict maiden aunts, plans to elope with Bill, but before Bill can get in over the garden wall, he is arrested by police. Thinking she has been jilted, Joan goes to the city and finds work in Barstow's dress shop; she goes out with Barstow, and they run into Bill at a party. Bill insults Joan, and she spitefully asks Barstow to take her home; Barstow takes her to his apartment instead and makes a pass at her. As Joan is struggling to free herself, Bill shows up and after a bone-crushing fight subdues Barstow and proves to Joan that his love has not weakened.
