Synopsis

Milkmen Jimmie Reid and Archibald Smith are out driving when they see Betty Carver fending off the unwelcome attentions of political boss Milton Blackburn, and they rescue her. Jimmie then drives Betty home. Although humiliated, Milton decides not to report Jimmie to the police. He schemes with gangster Rabbit Rossi to stage a fake prohibition raid at the Princess Nite Club where Milton will be attending a birthday party for Betty with her father, Hiram, and her stepmother. Carver is slated to be the next mayor, and Milton wants to have a hold on him. He also wants to marry Betty and figures that if it seems like he has kept Hiram out of trouble, Mrs. Carver will support his suit. The following day, while Milton is apologizing to Betty for his actions the night before, Betty sees Jimmmie drive up to deliver milk and invites him to her party. Because it is a costume party, Jimmie comes dressed as a milkman. Determined to get his revenge on Jimmie, Milton tells Rabbit to be on the lookout for a man dressed in a milkman's uniform. By mistake, Rabbit's men capture Archie and lock him in a room at the club. At the club, Milton plants alcohol at the Carver table. Jimmie happens on Archie and while he is freeing him, the two men overhear Rabbit's men planning the raid. Jimmie then foils Milton's plans and hands him over to the police.
