Synopsis
Seven rising young businessmen enter into a covenant: each of them is to put up $5,000 a year for 25 years and, at the end of 40 years, the money is to be divided equally among the survivors. The 40 years pass; only three of the seven are still alive; and one of the survivors is suffering from typhus. Benjamin Maynard, another of the original seven, is kidnaped, and his daughter, Marcia, sets out to look for him, accompanied by Sam Jefford, a former ace in the American Flying Corps. Sam and Marcia rescue her father, who turns out to be the last surviving member of the seven: one of the others is dead of typhus, and the second is an imposter, having killed the man he is impersonating. The imposter is brought to justice, and Benjamin gives his newly acquired fortune to his daughter on the occasion of her marriage to Sam.
