Synopsis
When Mark Bryson arrives to become superintendent of a railroad, Twyler, the freight conductor and secretly the leader of a gang of train robbers, throws three tramps off a train, one of whom he recognizes as a wanted man. He captures the kid, intending to collect the reward, but Mark claims him as Lee, his wayward brother, and gives him a job and a chance to reform. Twyler and Lee are both fired as the result of a train wreck, and Lee is induced to join the gang of robbers but is soon discovered to be a traitor. In a thrilling chase between an automobile and a runaway train, Twyler is brought to justice and Lee is revealed as a secret agent for the railroad. He is happily united with Mary Callahan, a telegraph operator.
