Synopsis

Impoverished young lawyer Tim Godwin makes money in an oil strike and buys a big house in New York City, to which he moves with his wife, Corrie, and their child. Tim adjusts quickly to city life and his job with a prestigious law firm, but Corrie remains unhappy and burdened with housework. The situation gets worse after Tim hires a former school chum as a social secretary for his wife. Eventually, the secretary is dismissed and a reconciliation is effected.
