Synopsis
After selling his South American mines in Paris, Gordon Kent falls in love with penniless Norma Selbee and marries her. When she elopes with an admirer (Marchmont), Kent and a detective pursue them, revealing Marchmont's criminal past and the existence of Norma's first husband, Jim Selbee. Initially condemning the couple to their mutual misery, Kent later relents when his wife saves him from a blackmail plot instigated by Selbee and returns to her.
