Synopsis
Doris Bayne is instructed by her wealthy father to deliver a valuable diamond necklace by air. The plane she hires is robbed in flight, and Doris is forced to throw the necklace from the craft's open cockpit. It lands at the feet of Bud Keenan, an honest ranch foreman. Bud picks it up and soon finds himself looking down the barrel of a pistol held by Doris, who has parachuted from the plane. Doris ties up Bud, but he soon escapes and follows her, rescuing her after she falls down an embankment. Bud takes Doris to his ranch and goes for a doctor. The leader of the crooks, Scar Degan, appears and demands the necklace, which Doris has thoughtfully given to a squaw for safekeeping; Degan then takes Doris to the gang's hideout. Bud gets the necklace from the squaw and goes to the hideout, trading the jewels for the girl. Bud later gets into a fight with the thugs that ends with the thieves dead and Bud in possession of the necklace, which he returns to Doris.
