Synopsis
Jim Kenney, the fleet middleweight boxing champion, is enamored of Betty Grant, the village librarian, and promises to write to her from every port. Meanwhile, he falls in love with Claire Ewing, a rich heiress who lives in the city and who knows Betty. Claire prevails upon Jim to stage an exhibition bout before retiring, but he is blinded from contact with resin on his opponent's glove and is knocked out. The heiress is disillusioned, but Betty's faith in Larry reunites them.
