Synopsis

"Fighting Jerry" Herrington persuades Helen Brinsley to marry his wastrel son, Rex, by threatening financial and social disgrace for her father. Helen's married life is unhappy, but she sticks to her bargain. Promised a divorce by Mr. Herrington if she can make a man of Rex, Helen takes him on a sailing cruise away from liquor. They are shipwrecked, and Rex develops character. Helen declines freedom from Rex, realizing she has fallen in love with her husband.
