Synopsis
Alicia Jones runs away from an orphanage and then puts on boys' clothes in order to get work on a farm. She falls in love with hired hand Harry Deigan, who knows her secret, but when the farm owner learns that Alicia is a woman, he fires her. Alicia goes back to the city, where wealthy mine owner Thomas Deigan adopts her. Meanwhile, Harry discovers that Thomas is his half brother, and decides to investigate his rich relative. He learns that Thomas took the mine illegally from the rightful owner, who, as a young girl, was placed in an orphanage after her mother's death. When further investigation reveals that Alicia is the owner, Harry decides to confront his half brother with the truth just as Thomas is trying to seduce his new daughter. Harry then fights off Thomas, and after seeing that the mine is restored to its real owner, he begins once again the romance that was interrupted when Alicia left the farm.
