Synopsis

Lewis Marsh, who betrays Rose Merritt and refuses to marry her, is in love with Ann Hardy, who is loved also by his brother David. Lewis pleads with David not to take Ann from him, and while asleep David has three different dreams in which the characters in his own tragedy act out the same conclusion to each episode: In Alaska, the mistress of a gambling hall owner is killed by him when she falls in love with a young inventor who loves another woman. In the second episode a similar incident involves a number of Long Island society people. The third episode introduces a Mexican girl as the betrayed woman. Awakening, David decides to marry Ann, and Rose and Lewis are reconciled. (Pauline Frederick plays the principal roles in the dream sequences.)
