Synopsis
"McGowan [McGregor] had made a cleanup prospecting for gold. He takes the wrong road home. His granddaughter [Joyce] gives away the secret to the villain [Sled]. So the old man is held up and shot. The gold, however, is confiscated by a Royal mounty [Sergeant O'Malley] fortuitously assigned to that district but a short time previously.
