Synopsis
Widowed and left with a young son (played by Johnny Harron), Mary consents to marry her dead husband's brother (played by Noah Beery), a harsh man whom she once rejected. She soon discovers that she still loves her dead husband--a fact that prompts her present husband to inflict pain on his wife and stepson at every opportunity. The youth finally triumphs in a fight with his stepfather; the latter regains consciousness, starts off to wreak revenge with a sabre, and angers a horse, which tramples him to death.
